The problem
One in two thousand parcels lost its shipping label between the warehouse scanner and the carrier handoff. Logs lived in three tools, so nobody could follow a single parcel.
What changed
Parcelry sent its scanner, queue and carrier-gateway spans to one place. Searching by parcel ID returned the whole journey.
The result
The team found a retry that rebuilt the label without its barcode and fixed it in an afternoon.
The label bug had been open for a month. One trace showed the retry that dropped the barcode, and we shipped the fix the same day.
